2026年4月17日，“天际探索号”（Celestyal Discovery）邮轮成为自2月伊朗与美国爆发战争以来，首艘成功穿越霍尔木兹海峡的客轮。
这条战略水道承担着全球20%的石油和天然气运输量，此前因冲突及美国海军封锁而实际上处于关闭状态。在当前停火期间，该海峡现已对商业航运开放。尽管已有数艘船只开始从多哈和阿布扎比的港口启航，但局势依然紧张。
为期两周的停火协议定于4月22日到期，不过特朗普总统表示，如果解决争端的进展持续，停火期可能会延长。
