荷兰法院命令一名男子停止捐献精子。法官说，乔纳森-梅耶尔是全世界大约500到600个孩子的父亲。
这名男子不得再向诊所捐献。如果他这样做，他可能因每次违规而被处以高达11万美元的罚款。法院还表示，国外的诊所必须销毁任何储存的精液，除了为已经由梅耶尔生下孩子的父母保留的精液。
使用Meijer作为捐赠者的荷兰父母说，他的进一步捐赠可能导致意外的乱伦和近亲繁殖。
