中国最近于 12 月 1 日实施的免签证旅游政策对旅游业产生了积极影响。
外交部旨在不断调整签证政策，改善跨境旅游条件。12 月最初三天，来自法国、德国、意大利、荷兰、西班牙和马来西亚的近 18,000 名游客中，约有 7,000 人进入中国。与 11 月最后一天相比，前三天来自这些国家的日均游客人数增长了 39%。
此举是中国在 ‘COVID-19 ‘限制令后重振旅游业努力的一部分。最近的一项调查显示，有 24 个国家对中国持负面看法，中国政府也在努力改善其全球形象。
