日本科技巨头富士通（Fujitsu）正在借鉴硅谷的做法，通过狗办公室打造更具吸引力的办公文化。
富士通公司位于川崎（距东京市中心约半小时车程）的大楼将在今年年底前试运行新的狗办公室，以此提高员工的福利和工作效率。2021 年发表在《动物》杂志上的一项研究发现，在办公室里养狗能带来更多的社交互动和跨部门交流，有助于提高员工的幸福感和工作满意度。
狗办公室铺设了防污地毯，提供免费狗粮，并设有室内游戏区，供员工在会议间隙玩抛接球游戏。
养狗区位于办公室的一个封闭区域，因此对狗过敏的人或不喜欢养狗的人仍然可以在这里工作。专用电梯只停在 25 楼的狗区。
