2026年2月6日 07:00 罗马现要求游客支付小额费用方可近距离接触特雷维喷泉。自2026年2月2日起，游客需支付2欧元方可走下水池旁的台阶投掷硬币。人们仍可免费从上方广场观赏喷泉，且视野对所有人保持通畅。
市政府希望游客能对这座纪念碑展现更多尊重。市政官员表示，此举主要目的是疏导人流而非盈利。特雷维喷泉常年人满为患，扒窃等治安问题频发。此前罗马已尝试实施排队与限时措施，官员称该系统运行良好。去年约有千万游客排队等候，夏季高峰期尤为拥挤。
门票仅适用于白天高峰时段，深夜时段仍可免费进入。所收费用将用于历史遗迹维护及提升参观体验；不过罗马居民无需付费。市政官员表示，该计划旨在促进优质旅游发展，为后世守护著名景点。
