卡塔尔车队正为2026年6月13日至14日在法国举行的著名勒芒24小时耐力赛做准备，这将是该车队在该赛事中的历史性首秀。这也是卡塔尔首次派队参加这项享有盛誉的赛事。
车队将参加LMGT3组别的角逐，驾驶车号为62的梅赛德斯-AMG赛车。此次参赛是卡塔尔汽车与摩托车联合会（QMMF）与意大利Iron Lynx赛车队合作的结果。 对于35岁的阿卜杜拉·阿尔·赫莱菲而言，这一时刻意义非凡，因为他将成为首位参加该赛事的卡塔尔车手。与他搭档的是德国车手朱利安·汉塞斯以及法国车手朱利安诺·阿莱西——后者正是前一级方程式车手让·阿莱西之子。
