丹麦提前两年强制女性服兵役。
2024 年 7 月 1 日之后年满 18 岁的女性可从 2026 年起参军。现在，男性和女性都必须参加抽签，如果没有足够的志愿者，将由抽签决定谁将参军。丹麦还将兵役期从四个月延长至十一个月。丹麦将增加 68 亿欧元的军费。
