埃克森公司收购先锋公司 – 第三级

埃克森美孚已同意通过一项价值 595 亿美元的全股票交易收购美国竞争对手先锋自然资源公司（Pioneer Natural Resources），使其成为美国最大油田二叠纪盆地的最大生产商。
该交易将美国最大的石油公司与先锋公司合并在一起，先锋公司是页岩革命的重要参与者，页岩革命使美国在短短十多年内成为世界上最大的石油生产国。合并后的公司旨在通过将埃克森公司的技术与先锋公司较低的运营成本相结合，大幅提高油气产量，减少温室气体排放。先锋公司首席执行官斯科特-谢菲尔德（Scott Sheffield）将加入埃克森董事会，但合并后公司的领导层尚未确定。
该交易预计将于 2024 年初完成，预计不会面临反垄断挑战。
