法国数千名抗议者举行游行，反对埃马纽埃尔-马克龙总统选择保守派总理米歇尔-巴尼耶。
左翼团体 ‘法国不屈服‘（France Unbowed）领导抗议者称，这一决定是不公平的，无视了最近的选举结果。选举结束后，没有任何团体赢得议会多数席位。左翼的新人民阵线（NFP）获得了最多的席位，但马克龙没有选择他们的总理候选人。
曾担任英国脱欧谈判代表的巴尼耶表示，他将努力把所有团体团结在一起。抗议活动可能会在未来几周内继续。
